The old gardener had gone. His lonely vines climbed into the olive trees or exhausted themselves as wild, dishevelled bushes.

We emerge from the pine woodland to the brass band of cicadas. The star that gives and never receives gazes at us from its blazing heart. The vines unfurl their soothing swell in the warm summer breeze.

At points of incandescence, at the crossroads of possibility, the intoxication of keeping watch can become enchantment. Yet everyone will leave the delicious threshold for the vast polarities beyond. They will act, appreciate and come to know.

Serve at 12–14 °C. This light red is an invitation not to trust appearances. Ideally, encounter its first aromas and take the first sip with your eyes closed. This luxurious grenadine is best enjoyed on its own, ideally as the opening act. It will certainly also suit charcuterie and lighter dishes. Suitable for cellaring.

The Ruddy Edges opens with a nose that bursts with red fruit. Its colour is a perfectly clear, light red. The palate has an astonishing fluidity: the wine glides, refreshes, then suddenly crackles with fine tannins that prolong a procession of sour cherries and citrus fruit. Notes from ageing wrap the whole in a strangely roasted, oxidative touch.

The solipsists’ ball, with its sulky cavalcades and relentless diagonals, had finally grown tiresome. In silence and darkness, within, the camera slowly turned around. And suddenly: inner constellations!

Serve at 8–10 °C. Decanting can be rewarding. A wine of great delicacy, ideal for opening the evening. It can accompany dishes of exceptional tenderness (roast poultry or fish, soft cheeses). Keep it away from dishes with overpowering flavours or aromas, lest they extinguish everything. Suitable for cellaring.

Seno has a clear, golden-tinged hue. Its nose is springlike. The palate is fluid, supported by a gently acidic backbone and finely sculpted by ageing in old barrels. A few gentle lees stirrings and a deliberately lax approach to topping up have coaxed out, without overdoing it, a fine lacework of autolytic and volatile notes. The aromatics dance between pear, struck flint and white flowers.
